The ECP released a revised schedule for the LG Sindh poll

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP) on Friday released a contemporary schedule for the second part of the indigenous government elections in Sindh, ARY Information reported.

Under the new schedule, candidates can submit nomination papers by June 15. The ECP will review nomination papers from June 17 to 19.

Any complaints to the nominees can be filed at the latest by June 22, the ECP said.

The final notes of the nominated candidates will be revealed on June 29 after the completion of all phases, along with paper review.

In the second part, elections of our original bodies will be held in the Karachi, Hyderabad and Thatta divisions.

July 24 is set for polling day, in keeping with notices issued by physical election monitors.

At least 946 candidates from 14 districts have been elected without opposition in the first part of the LG poll in Sindh.

Based on the details, 946 candidates have been elected unopposed from 14 Sindh districts in the first part of the indigenous physical elections in Sindh.


Knowledge issued by the ECP shows {if} of the 96 candidates from Kashmore Kandhkot, 70 from Qambar Shahdadkot, 135 from Jacobabad, 94 from Shikarpur, and 11 from Larkana, 65 from Mirpur Khas and 65 candidates from Umerkot have been elected unopposed.

A poll for the main part of indigenous physical elections in Sindh will be held on June 26, 2022. The federal government has ordered the observers to maintain rules and regulate the scenario in indigenous physical elections.
